Originals and Copies
Originals are never modified, geometry is never silently transformed, and healthy files make no copies.
Originals are never modified
Dropping a file changes nothing in it or its folder. The app copies each file into a private workspace, records its hash, and works on that copy. Saved results are always new files; originals, other queued inputs, and existing files are never overwritten.
No silent transformation
The app does not scale, rotate, translate, or infer units, and it does not smooth or voxelize. ASCII coordinates are parsed at double precision and binary output uses 32-bit floats, so tiny quantization is possible; it is reported in Details rather than hidden.
Healthy files produce no copies
If a check finds nothing to repair, the status is No repair needed and there is nothing to save. If only a warning remains, the status is Checked — review needed, again with no copy. Redundant -fixed files are never created.
Only verified output is offered
Saving is only enabled for a repair whose stored bytes were verified against the validated bytes. A canceled, crashed, timed-out, incomplete, or malformed run never enables saving.
