Statuses
Every status label a file can show and what it means.
Status labels
Each row shows exactly one of these labels.
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Queued | Waiting for earlier files to finish. |
| Checking | The file is being validated. |
| Repairing | A supported repair is being applied. |
| Verifying | The repaired bytes are being re-validated. |
| No repair needed | The completed check found no supported repair to perform and no warnings. |
| Checked — review needed | No automatic change was made, but a warning remains. Nothing can be saved. |
| Repair ready | A repair passed validation and its staged bytes were verified. It is not saved yet. |
| Saving | The verified repair is being written to your chosen folder. |
| Saved | The chosen folder contains the verified output. |
| Cannot repair safely | The mesh has a defect the engine will not resolve conservatively. |
| Check incomplete | Validation was interrupted, for example by a size or pair limit or a timeout. |
| Error | An operational failure, such as a worker or protocol problem. |
| Canceled | You canceled the job. |
A file that cannot be parsed, such as a malformed or truncated binary STL, shows Error with an invalid_input reason that says what is wrong, for example that the file is shorter than its header declares.
Queued, Checking, Repairing, and Verifying are in-progress states: the result is not final. Only Repair ready enables saving.
Warnings versus failures
Warnings are shown as orange lines under the row, in addition to the status, so a warning is never hidden behind an otherwise normal-looking result.
A warning does not stop a result. For example, a repair can be Repair ready while tiny-triangle warnings remain, or a healthy file can be Checked — review needed. Examples of warnings are tiny triangles and Z coordinates below zero (a placement note: the app does not move or trim geometry).
A failure is Cannot repair safely, Check incomplete, Error, or Canceled. No output can be saved, and a timeout, cancellation, process failure, resource limit, or incomplete scan is never reported as success.
Note
Several separate shells are not treated as a defect, but the engine does not certify their containment or orientation and does not repair them.
Rejected input
Files that cannot be accepted (for example non-STL names, aliases, symbolic links, remote files, or files larger than 64 MiB) are listed in an orange message area above the queue with a reason; use Dismiss to clear it. Adding the same file twice is reported as already in the queue. Other files in the same drop are still accepted.
